You just designed something beautiful and you're feeling proud, or maybe you made a layout, logo, poster, etc. Suddenly, you see the work of some professional you admire and feel that your work is inferior. That discouragement beats. Everyone must have experienced something like this in their life or probably some other reason or problem that led to
demotivation.

So what to do when that happens? How to stay active in the midst of problems or how to transform that moment of comparing yourself with someone into something better?

The secret lies in breaking the barrier and fighting with those moments that try to make us stop continuing. Yes, of course, sometimes it's not easy to seek the strength to continue, but if you like what you do and know that you can improve, make an effort to achieve your goals. It's always worth it. See the work of others as a challenge. When you find the fine line that takes you from demotivation to dissatisfaction, you will feel a desire to grow and then you will see how much your work will improve.

Each professional has their own creative method and process that must be cultivated. Remember: that professional you admire spent years and years cultivating their own process. Surely, too, at some point in his life he felt the same way with another professional as you felt when you saw his work, or he also passed
for problems that you may not know, but you decided to continue on the path, cultivated your work and achieved success.

Opportunities can arise in what we least expect. Don't be distant when she shows up.

Taking online or face-to-face courses, going to a park, and drawing something to train observation or writing also help you get out of the doldrums. Motivate yourself with what makes you feel better and little by little you get there.

Everything we've learned in life, however much it may be, will work someday at some point you least expect. Every day is a learning day, even for those who are already at an extremely advanced level. I have seen many artists making incredible drawings, practically perfect, but who were still dissatisfied with the quality of their work. This is what generates better results, because you will do your best and you will learn much more each time you do something new.

Another detail that I consider fundamental is: although you are inspired by someone, always seek your own style. There's nothing wrong with seeking references, but none of that will matter if you don't develop something of your own, something where you can say “that's my style of doing this”. At the end of the day, everyone has their own way of expressing themselves, whether in art or in any other professional area. Cultivate your creative process.

When you want to succeed as much as you want to breathe, then you will succeed!” - Eric Thomas

Yes, nothing I said here is easy. It requires time, effort, and a lot of will, but what profession in life will not require at least two of these three items from you? To achieve what we want, we must fight. Has life brought you down? Get up. No matter how many times something happens to hinder your dreams, stand up. Tomorrow is another day. The present and, consequently, your future, depend solely on you.
