I've been in a “purple vibe” these past few weeks for some reason, hahaha. Really enjoying working with vibrant tones, I think, and experimenting a lot with a mix of shades in this suit. This week I did some studies that you can check out below - I'm still working a lot on Procreate, nothing traditional for now due to the weather.
And yes, I'm still focusing my initial sketches on shades of gray to paint later :)
Initial sketch x final version. In that I didn't color so much, I decided to use some purple/pink and green shades to strengthen the lighting. It was even a study more focused on this, colored light tests coming from both sides.

Since I hadn't drawn horses for some time and had never done a digital one, only the traditional one — and I love to draw horses — I decided to do a study on Procreate. Here I also focused on a purplish lighting in contrast to the horse's brown hue. I was very happy with the results of both the sketch and the final version, especially in anatomy.

Following a bit of the thumbnail principle and the studies I did a few weeks ago, I decided to do another one.
I added a plot twist: dragon attacking.
Evolution of the painting - some more dragons in the background and the start of smoke due to the destruction of dragon fire.
I'm still doing some color tests, so it's not 100% ready, hehe. At the beginning of this week I should finish and then post the final version in the next post:)
