Drawings in ink and pastel pencils and digital; my preparations for Inktober 2019.

I haven't blogged in a while (again, haha) and I apologize for that. The last few months have been, as I mentioned in previous posts, very busy with work and personal problems. However, we are close to Inktober and, as you know, I participated eagerly in the last two years and it will be no different this year. I will make an extra effort to return to the drawing routine both for Inktober, how much for me.

Even though I didn't post the updates here on the blog, I continued drawing — not as much as I used to draw, but I continued, hehe. In this post, I decided to post the drawings I made during that time without Update, as well as taking that out of the way to start Inktober posts without that “interference” :)

I made a cover for my new one Bullet Journal. In fact, it has been a very good practice and I highly recommend it. Create a Bullet Journal It's much more fun than having a digital agenda or a physical agenda ready and it also forces you to draw lines, circles, etc. - a good practice to let go of your hand in drawing and everything.
This doodle on ink pens I confess I haven't finished it yet. With the rush, I ended up leaving it aside and moving on to others, but I will finish it soon :)
A doodle in pastel pencils to train facial expression.
Finished drawing.
Another doodle in pastel pencils. Since I hadn't drawn with pastel pencils in a while, I decided to make some in recent months to let go of my hand.
A loose workout in perspective and lighting. Totally unreferenced and to let go of your hand. As I have mentioned here a few times, it is always useful to do this type of thing, even to see where you are and where you need to go in technique and skills.
Another one in pastel pencils. That one was totally released too and lately I've been listening again Two Steps From Hell (I love/love their instrumental songs, haha). I drew this one while listening to the song Victory. There is something in their music that refers to the fantastic, unique, different. I highly recommend it if you are looking for creativity to draw... crazy things. Haha! Not to mention that the songs are so lively that they are perfect for those moments when you want to fully focus on work and/or art.
A doodle in BIC pen — from the series “moments when you want to draw anything that comes to mind.
Another loose doodle in pastel pencils.
In this one I decided to use ink pens also for some details - gold and silver.
I used the silver on those sparkles on the top, on the white part just behind it.
Finished drawing. This one will even be on sale at my store coming soon :)
And some more doodles in BIC :)

That's it for today, guys! Stay tuned for the next few weeks Inktober! <3 by the way, here's the official list for those who want to participate - and it also includes a list they made with themes inspired by Elder Scrolls Online :)

I, in particular, will follow the official list for every day as usual... and the Elder Scrolls Online list will depend on the rush of the day in question, haha. If I manage to make more than one drawing on a specific day, I take the opportunity to follow the one from Elder Scrolls Online... maybe even merge two words from the same day if there's time to complicate, haha? In addition, there are several personalized lists online if you want to try something different from the official list. Just Google it ;)

The most important of Inktober, in my opinion, is taking the opportunity to challenge yourself and practice a lot. So, do it your way, however you want! Maybe even create your own word list!
