And here we go to the 39th edition of the Drawings of the Week! Yay!
Some doodling I did for training. I like to do this to loosen up a bit :)
Since my Micron pens have run out (yes, Inktober yielded a lot, hahaha! I need to buy more!) I decided to use Stabilo in this drawing. It has a slightly thicker tip, but depending on the force you apply when making the lines, it achieves an interesting result :)
This one was supposed to be a simpler wolf that I ended up complicating later and doodling too much, hahaha, but it was cool.
In this one I decided to make a mix of ink with pastel pencils.
Other than that, I wanted to try a different style for my hair, since most of the time I always do it straight.
Finished drawing.
A pose study.
A loose design and mostly in Nanking. I used white pencils to whiten my skin too. The rest is all in ink pen, hehe.
In the latter, I decided to create a structure to show how I usually make faces - that's when I want to be more correct and specific, haha, I usually do everything myself XD
After I adjust everything, I refine the strokes.
And more...
... and more until I get to the point I want.
And then I start painting:) I generally like to start with the face, using shades of brown and beige.
I also usually create a base for hair in the colors that I already intend to use.
To dye my hair, I made a base in yellow (leaving some white areas for the shine) and two more shades of orange: the darkest (and almost reddish) using for the darkest areas and a “medium” orange for the medium shadows.
In the flower, I usually use two shades. In this case they were two shades of blue (almost purple) and the same thing: leaving white areas for light and painting the darker ones with the darkest tone.
Same scheme for the other flower, but with more purple and pink tones:)
Finished drawing.
Well, that's it for today, guys. There will be more next week, as always :)
