I took advantage of the week to draw on the sheets of A4 Kraft paper (200g/m²) that I bought in a Store on Elo7. I really liked it. The price was very good and in addition there are 100 sheets! It was very worthwhile.

I started the week with a drawing of a raven to pay homage to the eternal Edgar Allan Poe and my favorite poem of his, The Raven.
I was worried about creating a cool and “accurate” typography, although I'm not very used to designing letters and fonts, but then I remembered: “it doesn't have to be perfect. It has to be something mine”, so I simply wrote mercilessly and fearlessly XD I was very happy with the result.
A quick sketch in one of my (many, haha) sketchbooks <3
That sketch was very loose, but it was also inspired by something. In this case, the mask and horns were inspired by the clothing that the character Rachel Amber wears in the game Life is Strange: Before the Storm that I played recently. Very good, by the way. I recommend :)
In this one, I decided to make a “mix” of everything I like to use: ink and colored pencils, in addition to the line surrounding the white pen, of course XD
The coolest thing about using pastel pencils is being able to explore the use of white. In the case of hair, I used 2 shades of blue, one for half tones and the other for darker shadows; and white to create the glow effect and lighten some parts of the blue.
To blend colors, I like to use shades. Some people like to use their finger or even a piece of paper, but fart is the best tool in my opinion, hehe.
Playing so much with white lately that I remembered when I was a kid and I didn't know how to use white pencils, hahaha. Most, like me at that time, thought that white pencils were useless... and today... look what you can do just by exploring the pencil and white pen! Since I was innocent...
Finished drawing.
A quick sketch.
So, do you remember thisdrawing of the nymph Calypso? I did it in July of that year and, at the time, I liked the result so much that I decided that one day I would redo it and paint it. The day has arrived, haha.
I decided to take the opportunity to recreate it on Kraft paper and then draw the lines on the ink and paint with pastel pencils.
To be honest, I even thought I would have more work to redo the drawing, but no, it was very relaxed, which makes me very happy.
Traces in ink.
Since the original drawing, I've wanted to make her skin tone something between blue and green, so I followed that line. First, I created a base in white, then I applied a beige one (which is what I usually use to make fur) and on top I mixed some blue and green tones.
I also used the white pencil to create shine in some areas and to create the effect on the scales.
A white base also on my hair and then I used gray pencils to create the highlights and shadows.
At first, the details on her skin (which look like tattoos) I was thinking of doing with a white pen, but I didn't want them to be too strong, so I used white pencils to make them softer.
In the wave, there is also a white base and blue lines in the background to create the shadows, keeping the white for brightness.
I painted blue in front of the waves, although I liked white better before, haha, but it was interesting anyway.
I used the white pen to create small circles of light throughout the drawing, plus a few more lines around it to reinforce the brightness — I love doing that:)
Finished drawing:)
Here is a comparison of the new design and the one from July.

I hope you enjoyed today's post. There's new added stuff in my stores, by the way. I haven't posted which ones yet because I'm adding more art there, but there are already some of the new ones I made this year. Check it out: Colab55 (Brazilian) | Society6 (international)

And that's it for today, dear reader! There will be more next week.
