I wish I had drawn more this week, but it was a rush. A good run, by the way, haha. I'm working on several web projects and it's been really good! I can't wait to be able to share it with you.

At least, I took advantage of this week to do some looser sketches, quick studies too... which you can check below ;)

Loose, unreferenced sketch to start the week.
I used black and white ink pens as usual, in addition to creating some details on the gold pen as well.
A quick sketch and study to test a hair style and different details.
Since I saw Black Panther last week — and I loved it, of course, haha — I'm thinking of doing fan art for the movie eventually. In addition, I wanted to take the opportunity to practice painting black skins more, to study the proportions and styles that make up black beauty.
In addition, I wanted to take the opportunity to test a more sophisticated style also on pastel pencils - something along the lines of what I already do with pens, but with pencils now too.
I really liked the result and it was really fun to do :)
Here I was taking some notes and drafts for a project and decided to draw a bit, haha. Made directly on the bic pen.
And that was the last cartoon of the week. Below is a video to show how I usually make my drawings in ink - more specifically the part of the grass, but it's basically the shape I usually do in general: loose and free lines. Of course, I always start with a basic pencil sketch that I then detail on the pen (in fact, not always). Sometimes, when I don't want to be too specific, I go straight to the pen, as is the case with the drawing above on white paper).
I usually work on the shadows and, finally, I use the white pen to create the lighting.
Finished drawing :)

And that's it for today. I hope you enjoyed it and that next week I will have more time to draw even more to share with you <3
