There comes a time after training hard that you feel a certain need to go back on some points, study more... I outline this by drawing several drawings of elements that I already draw well and blending with elements that I still need to improve... in this case it's studying by hand. Overall, I can do something decent, but this week I realized that I still need to improve a lot, especially with regard to making the details of the hands, lines, bones, etc. Pure anatomy.

In fact, just to make an addendum: even when I'm not satisfied with some element in my drawings, I tend to transform it into my own challenge in search of improvements. Basically, don't get frustrated if something in your drawing isn't good enough. With time and practice you will be able to improve this, without a doubt. Just see what I've been able to achieve myself in the last 5 years! The jump is big, guys. Very large. At the end of the post, I'll even post a drawing I made in 2007 just to give you a sense of what practice and patience can do, haha.

And finally, the drawing I made in 2007 just below. At the time, I didn't even think about turning drawing into a career, I simply drew for the sake of drawing, occasionally. A hobby. I really started drawing in 2013. I like to go back in time to remind not only myself, but anyone who is following the blog, how important it is to stand firm, even when everything is difficult. It sounds cliché, I know, it's not easy, but up front you'll see how much it paid off.

Ultimately, we're all warriors made of stories, fighting battles every day. Just be proud of your scars and get ready for the next battle.
