Drawings of the Week #62

Graphite, pastel pencil drawings and digital too.

I didn't doodle much this week, both out of a rush and because I was “stuck” in a specific art that became one of my best (which you'll see later in this post), hahaha.

I started the week with this doodle in graffiti and white pastel pencils
I doodle on the iPad to train. I'm happy to see that I'm getting used to using stylus well :)
The sketch that became one of my best drawings, haha.
As you will soon see, when I work with kraft paper, I like to first mark the areas that will have the most lighting, in addition to making lines as smooth as possible because then I work on the shadows and reinforce the lighting directly in the color.
I wasn't going to add the elf ear at first, but I can't help it, hahaha. *I love to draw elves*
From the beginning, I already wanted to make her hair golden with half-purple highlights, but I didn't want to do something just that way... I wanted to leave it with a more “profound” meaning. Then, funnily enough, the word “Stained” came to mind because of the way I left some elements, kind of “stained”. That's when I decided to make the locks become blemishes and the idea finally became clearer.
Finished drawing :)

I even added this last art there in my stores in Colab55 and Society6 for those interested in purchasing my products :D

Good week to you guys o/
