Drawings of the Week #67

Drawings in pastel pencils and ink; the need to space out.

Feeling a little “down” these past few weeks, you know? There are times when we need to take some time to relax. Sendo freelancer, I tend to forget that. Sometimes we spend days and nights working late into the evening and not having time to breathe or relax. It can't.

This week, I decided to take some time for myself, so I drew little. I wanted to distract my head, take advantage of the fact that I'm waiting for feedback from customers, hahaha. I generally try to take advantage of those moments. Other than that, I took advantage of the fact that Zenimax released a new expansion (Summerset) this week for Elder Scrolls Online, one of my favorite games, hahaha. It was good, it helps.

When you feel overwhelmed, stressed, take time for yourself. Don't feel bad or guilty about it. From time to time it is necessary to unwind.

I started with this sketch that I worked on throughout the week.
I still didn't have exactly clear ideas about this drawing, another reason why I ended up taking a long time to finish it.
I took the opportunity to explore shades that I like: yellow, purple, brown, blue, etc.
I haven't drawn bees in a long time. I remembered one of the arts I did for Inktober 2017 where I drew several of them and it was very laborious, a delight, haha. I ended up creating my own way to do them in a simplified way, which helped here too:)
Finished drawing.
And here, a creature in ink pens on kraft paper. I was inspired by foxes and wolves:)
