“Dark” drawings in pastel pencils and digital; a necessary outburst.

This week I decided to do a vampire and a digital doodle to test another brush that I liked from Procreate, haha.

PS: I confess that I am a bit discouraged. The last few weeks haven't been very easy for me and the rush doesn't help either, I feel a little overwhelmed, tired. But it's part of life, isn't it? I can't wait to get out of that doldrums soon. I feel like I can't produce well when I'm like this, you know? It's really revolting.

Other than that, I'm also a little tired of people commenting on nonsense in my cartoons, hahaha. Tired, seriously. Sorry for the outburst, guys, but those who draw know O How annoying it is to receive comments that don't add up and don't help at all, especially from people who don't even know how to draw and don't understand all the effort and work you do, dedicate yourself, to achieve the best you can.

Ironically, artists who have been working in the field for a long time often give tips and good words. I tend to do that too, you know? Help, especially when it's something I know well and I avoid talking about what I don't know, obviously... but this “internet generation” thinks they understand everything and feels the need to comment on nonsense.

Stop, just... Stop. Hahaha. Sad. I only feel sorry for these people, because the time they waste complaining and speaking ill of other people's work could be investing in their own growth.

Anyway, let's go to the drawings XD

Initial sketch. In my process, I already like to mark the lighting with the white pencil also before painting when using kraft paper. It became a custom of mine when using this type of paper, hehe. ;)
I confess that I'm not 100% happy with this drawing, it's not one of my best... but we still always learn something, which is important.
I liked the effects I created in the mouth:) light white lines for the lighting and shades of red for the shadows.
Finished drawing. And yes, the hand is supposed to be “different” really, haha. The idea is a vampire half “monster” :p
This one was just a random doodle to test the use of a textured brush that I really like in Procreate :)

And that's it for today, guys. I wish I had drawn more, I know... I apologize for the outburst, but sometimes it's necessary, you know? Learning certain things isn't good for anyone :p

Good week to you!
