Still exploring that digital painting style that I mentioned in Past post. I'm really enjoying working with him, hehe, besides that it's great to be able to be aware of various styles and ways of doing painting (both traditional and digital).

As I always say, the important thing is to do what we feel comfortable doing, what we like to do, and to never stop exploring new options and testing new ways of creating.

The cool thing is that we always bring something from what we already do to the new one... as you will see in today's post.

I finished that drawing from last week, by the way. Below, time-lapse:
A drawing that I started, exploring loose brushstrokes with a texture brush — as I did in Last post.
I decided to add more details to make the art even richer. Something I highly recommend. Always seek to go further, you always learn new ways to create along the way.
Some of the details of the crown. I worked more on the stones, reinforcing the shine, and then the strings that hold the stones and hair together, hehe. With a little shade here and a little light here, you can already create better depth and detail. I also used the 6B pencil brush that I love to detail the hair, especially as you can see in the finished drawing, below:
Finished drawing. The more details, the more story you add to your piece, you know? You learn a lot and even improve your skills along the way. Time-lapse just below:)
Another loose doodle that wanted to bring a little more history as well. I reinforced expression, hand position, etc. As I always say: composition is fundamental in any art, you know? An image must tell a story, bring depth, so that it becomes interesting and rich, - which is why, whenever possible, I try to detail as much detail as possible in my drawings.
So that it wouldn't be so lacking in contrast, I tried to bring more lighting to the art and I always try to reinforce the shadows as well. In addition, as you will see below, I also made a background with not so detailed elements, which is to give the idea that there are objects a little distant there:)
Finished drawing and, below, time-lapse:

I still think I should have reinforced some more details in that last one, hahaha... maybe I'll touch it again, but it was worth it to practice and try new ways of painting/drawing:)

I apologize for not doing so much traditional drawings in recent weeks, but I wasn't in very good health either — I'm getting better, though — and I also have some design projects (websites) to deliver:/

A great week for you and thank you for following the blog! <3
