Drawings of the Week #81

Digital and ink doodles.

Wow, there's only one month left until the next Inktober! I can't wait! I miss drawing only in ink pens, hehe. I made one this week and another digital one — I'm still recovering from a health problem I had (nothing serious, thank God, haha), so that's another reason why I haven't been drawing as much as I would like these past few weeks.

Next month I intend to draw only ink pens on behalf of Inktober and do everything possible to keep up with the rhythm of one a day, as I did last year. I highly recommend that you participate, it's very worthwhile. I learned a lot and it helped me to create my own style, even.

Here's the official list for those who already want to get ready, hahaha <3

Now let's get to the drawings? :)

The initial idea of this drawing in ink pens is of a young woman walking through the forest.
I decided to evolve the idea later: a forest where ghosts reside and can only be properly seen through the light of her flashlight, haha:)
When I work with ink pens, depending on the design, I like to do loose doodles, as you may have seen here.
Finished drawing.
Initial sketch of the digital doodle.
Already more painted here. I did it the same way I did Lucy's in the previous post: initial sketch + initial shadows and lighting with 6B pencil princel and then I merge everything and paint over the top using the texture brush, recreating the shadows and lighting and adding more details.
Finished painting.

I ended up not uploading the time-lapse of this one because unfortunately Procreate only saved from the finished sketch until the end of the painting. I really like it when it takes everything, to show from the first line of doodling, hahaha. It's much cooler!

That's it for today, but there will be more next week :)
