Well, now that Inktober is over, we're back with the “normal” schedule, haha :)
I bought a new Kraft paper sketchbook from Miolito Since my other one ended up and I won a cool journal from them - which I decided to transform into a kind of bullet journal. I liked the idea of creating a bullet journal so much that I will do one next year instead of buying a ready-made diary. It's so much more fun and personal, you know? You'll see more in the photos below <3
Sketch to start the week. As always: initial sketch with a pencil and then paint the base colors, also marking the shadows and initial lighting. Colors used here were white, brown, pink, and sanguine. I still mix colors with the usual method: that brush that I comment on this one Post.
After leaving the base colors well resolved, I add more details and colors to the drawing to reinforce light and shadow and as much as I want to highlight.
In the case of this specific drawing, I decided to add some details in gold pen (UniPoSCA).
And yes, I was very excited about the gold one, hahaha. It was a good experiment, actually. I plan to explore this effect more in the future, as I really like to mix different materials.
A digital doodle not yet finished, done in Procreate. I'm still exploring ideas:)
And here Miolito's cuddles <3 there's no way not to love, right? :)
Cover in ink and gold pens that I made for the journal <3
Here what I was commenting about Bullet Journal <3 my next one will undoubtedly be on dotted paper, which is more practical, you know? But I highly recommend doing a bullet journal, it's a lot of fun! :)
Bizarre cover I made for the new sketchbook, hahahaha.
A mix of goat and horse. Sometimes I think about drawing something specific (in this case it was just supposed to be a cute horse, hahaha) but as I draw new ideas come up ~ insane ~ XD
And that's it for today, guys. There will be more next week! :)
