I returned from New York last weekend and took advantage of this week to finish some projects and get back to doodling. I ended up not drawing anything on the trip, as we spent most of our time exploring the city and some tourist spots with my boyfriend's family — yes, I plan to make a new post soon where I will comment more on the trip and post the various photos we took from there, hahaha.
Today we are going to doodle:)
I did that quick doodle before traveling. My boyfriend, his brother and I were waiting to give us the time to go to the airport and, in the meantime, I decided to draw a little. I made this drawing in white pastel pencils and blood pencils.
Some of the Christmas presents I got from my boyfriend's family! Highlight is the set of pencils, charcoal, eraser and glitter from Koh-I-Noor, one of my favorite brands and one that I highly recommend.
To play around with the charcoal pencil, I made this quick sketch of a Hagraven (an enemy in the Elder Scrolls series). I also used my usual white Polychromos pastel pencil, haha.
Initial sketch of another drawing that I decided to make in ink pens.
I took the opportunity to test these two Sakura (Gelly Roll) pens that I bought in New York. I already had a white one from this brand that was great and it was worth getting those two too. They're great, very bright colors! I would say that it has a more vivid color than the UnipoSCA that I'm already used to using.
Finished drawing. I used the usual Sakura Pigma Micron pens for the black lines (005 and 01 are generally my main ones, sometimes I choose 03 or 08 when I want to make stronger lines), UniPosca white for the white details (always, too) and the gray and gold Sakura Gelly Roll pens.
And that's it for today, guys. There will certainly be more next week!
