Drawings of the Week #97

Sepia pencil study; digital pose study on Procreate.

This week I did some studies - one of a fox in sepia pencils and the other of posing in Procreate.

I thought I would have more time to draw this week, but I had an unforeseen event: my dog is not cool, he can't walk anymore... and, to make matters worse, my mother isn't so cool either (with back and arm pain). So I spent most of my time keeping an eye on them and taking care of them, you know? You can't play with family, hehe. With Faith in God I hope they get better soon:)

Fox study done with Koh-I-Noor sepia pencils that I won for Christmas, in addition, of course, to having used the usual white pastel pencil from Polychromos.
Initial pose study sketch on Procreate.
Adding details, more light and shadow, in addition to blending the tones.
Use the Color Balance tool to adjust the tones I wanted, in addition to giving more details and brightness.
Finished drawing:)

Since I didn't have time to edit the time-lapse video to post it on YouTube, Vimeo and Twitch (because I usually edit to add background music, slow it down to increase video time, etc.), I ended up posting the unedited version directly on Instagram only and you can check it out hereto.

I apologize for the delay too — I tend to post on the weekend, but there really wasn't time. I am, in fact, very exhausted and have a lot of things to solve at the moment, but again: always in search of the dream :)

Have a great week!
