Hello, everyone! Welcome to another edition of the Drawings of the Week! Hehe :)
I didn't draw much this week, I confess, because I have some projects in progress, but I haven't stopped drawing! I even decided to explore some different things, but I also kept some of what I have been doing in recent weeks, both to train and to seek my own style. I feel like I'm almost close to something in that regard, which makes me very excited, but I still have a lot to venture out on, of course. If even those who are already professionals when it comes to drawing are still looking for improvements, imagine who is still following a path? Hehe.
Let's get to the drawings!
I started the week with this kinda crazy sketch that I decided to transform into something more conceptual, a punk elf, haha. I took the opportunity to play and train a different perspective as well.
I decided to make a different sword as well to finish and worked more on the shadows and folds on the clothes. I still need to improve my skills in perspective, but overall it was interesting and a concept that I intend to explore more in the future as well.
In the midst of the hustle and bustle of the week, this was a bit loose sketch with no specific purpose :)
Initial sketch of a girl with cat headphones, haha. I decided to paint with colored pencils later, photos of the process soon after.
That unpainted eye was kind of “dark”, right? Hahaha.
Before painting, I like to already think about the colors I will use, based on color theory. In this case, I used red and green (because they are complementary to red).
Finished drawing. I need to work more on my skills in drawing/painting hair, but it's really a matter of training and repetition, hehe.
Well, I hope you enjoyed this week's drawings! As always, there will be more next week!
