Among the new materials I bought, I picked up a sanguine oil pencil. The sanguine technique was formerly used by great artists to create completely reddish-brown sketches and drawings. It has this name because it is “the color of blood”, it basically comes from a mixture of minerals that make it a reddish color, or rather, a dark reddish brown. At that time, it was a kind of “red chalk”, nowadays we already have it in pencils, which is great, haha.

I really enjoyed using it to create my sketches this week. I made some drawings in which I mixed it with colored pencils as well, others I did with it alone. Check it out below :)

I started the week with this sketch with only blood pencils. What I bought It's water resistant and you can't erase it either, haha, which is good for when you want to draw quickly and directly, maybe even train without having to create extremely perfect shapes. It is very soft and you can easily create very light and stronger lines.
In this one, I created the sketch entirely with it and then colored some parts with colored pencils to test. It gives an interesting effect.
Another quick sketch I did before bed with only blood pencils.
One more.
Another one I mixed colored pencils with. Also, I made the sketch entirely with blood pencils and then painted with colored pencils.
And one more with just a blood pencil, hahaha.

In addition to this week's sketches, there was also a new project! I made another layout for subscription club templates from AssineStore:

Check out the full project here on the site or on Behance.
