Drawings of the Week #74

More digital drawings to explore the Procreate app.

Drawings of the Week

Hello, everyone! :)

I continued on digital this week as well, as I said last week. I'm designing as much as possible, because I have several design projects in progress too, the usual rush continues, haha, but it's part of it and it's always good, isn't it? ;)

I can't wait to fill Procreate with various drawings/paintings! <3
Sketch from the beginning of the week to practice a little more lighting. I took the opportunity to explore more layer effects, too, which I mentioned in Post past.
Finished drawing. I'll talk more about these effects when I feel more familiar with the app and have time to create a review. Below, time-lapse:

New sketch.
As I have said here a few times, I like to draw without reference sometimes to train and see where I am (as is the case with this drawing).

NOTE: When I say draw with reference it doesn't mean that I copy the reference itself. I just look at her and redo it (in the eye) elements that interest me (generally pose/anatomy, the rest is in the head). For those who are still starting to draw, I recommend trying to copy as much as possible of the image/photo that you want to use for a while, and this is more so that you become familiar with the elements and traits... so that you begin to understand how that particular element “works”:)

However, try to draw from scratch/in the eye whenever possible with and without reference, see? Little by little you'll be able to draw certain things without having to copy/study anything at all, but it takes time and patience. Don't forget that and don't give up, hehe.

Finished drawing. Below, time-lapse:

I also started painting the drawing of the turret that I did last week. I'm not done yet, but I should finish it this week.

Anyway, for today it's just personal. I can't wait to start drawing more a week, hahaha. I really like to do at least one a day, but it's been very busy and I haven't been able to return to that routine... I hope to return soon.
